Paleo Festival has been held inbetween Geneva and Lausanne on the shores of Lac Leman since 1976 when it originated as the Nyon Folk Festival but has since evolved into an annual rock festival across 6 stages with over 200,000 visitors in the six days it's held.
Since the festival first started almost 40 years ago, over 2500 artists and 3.5 million spectators have been a part of the event and they have housed some huge names.
This year being no exception, the festival which runs between 22nd and 28th July is being headlined by Sir Elton John! Other acts taking part include Jack Johnson, The Prodigy, M.I.A, The Black Keys, 30 Seconds to Mars, Ky-mani Marley and festival stalwart Seasick Steve!
With a Black Keys ticket in the bag I can't wait for it to come around!
If you are interested in attending Paleo, Nyon is under 2 hours from Morzine meaning you could base yourself at the hub of activity and then pop to Nyon for a day of music!!! Perfect! Get in touch for our availibility and summer pricing at Hotel L'aubergade or one of our self catered chalets.
We are a collection of mountain loving individuals working together year round in Morzine. We have a common interest in our habitat and over the years have built a unique connection with it.
