From Wednesday 12th March – 15th March we welcome back the Snow-Camp charity to host their largest event of the year ‘The Alpine Challenge’.
The competition is just one of the many efforts Snow-Camp does to raise money to use skiing and snowboarding as the basis for life lessons and programmes aimed at enabling inner-city young folk to develop the confidence and skills to support their future. Many of these guys find a passion for snowsports and end up working in the UK snowsports industry which provides them a future in a growing industry.
Last year we raised €3600 for Snow-Camp and guess what, we’re doing it again! This comp is an endurance event rather than just something fun which can be seen in last years Mountain Mavericks blog post, and raising money is something were very serious about so we have tried to merge fun with our fundraising care to provide a few incentives to raise money this year.
TO START OFF. If we beat last years donation amount Olly will film the next Mountain Mavericks Lunch Lap Video on SKIS & in a Retro Rentals Onesie! Yes that’s right: Olly on ski’s and in a 80’s onsie!!
For individual efforts:
If you donate €5-€15 - we will give you a personal shoutout on our social media sites and be in the draw to win some cool ski/snowboard stash!
If you donate €20 - we will have a bottle of fizz waiting on your next arrival with us at Mountain Mavericks
If you donate €100 - You'll get a day on the mountain riding with Olly and the Mountain Maverick Team, plus some great surprises!
We really want to make a difference again, and appreciate your help big or small! Again here is our Mountain Mavericks Just Giving Page:
Thanks again guys, Team Mountain Mavericks x
