Here is all the travel information you need for your ski holiday in Morzine.
All you need to know about the snow, the town, and the surrounding area.
A gorgeous age where they will begin to understand the excitement of the snow! Although not yet quite old enough to start skiing, they will be able to enjoy lots of other snow based activities!
We can provide wooden cots, which are slightly more substantial for an older child than a travel one and more comfy! Now very mobile.....we can make sure that they do not venture any where they shouldn't by way of marvellous stair gates! We can provide toys, books and games to suit their age and continuing development. If they are giving big girl or boy pants a go, we have plenty of potties and plastic mattress protectors! Don't stop this important training just because you are not at home.
Now they can venture out into the snow, there is plenty to do with them out and around town in Morzine/Avoriaz. Little ones love the gentle tobogganing on the slopes at the back of our hotel in the centre of town. We also have plenty of toys here, so you can ski to and from using it as a base for your family / group to meet up either for lunch or apres drinks. The Petit Train, horse drawn sleigh rides and traditional Carousel are certain to get the regular thumbs up as will the indoor swimming pool complex with the warm toddler pool. New for last winter was Baby Snow from the ESF, a new scooter with a handle and small saddle which can be used by any child above the age of one, who has the ability to stand on their own. The mini skiers will be protected by a helmet and the babysnow is controlled by the instructor. They say you're never too young to start learning and this pretty much proves it!
With the summer comes the opening of the incredible outdoor pool / lido complex next door to the indoor pool, complete with toddler pool and shallow mid pool. There is also lovely paddling areas at the lakes in Montriond and Lets Gets to encourage their confidence in the water. As per the winter, there is the novelty of the horse drawn carriages, the little train circling the town centre and in the town square the ride on carousel. At our hotel we have a mini golf course, slides, sand pit, outdoor toys all under the lovely shady apple trees.
No! We can supply all of that!
We have 2 wooden cots and 4 travel cots - we also have sheets, blankets and sleeping bags if needed.
No, there is 1 room in each chalet with a bath. If available this will be allocated to families with babies first. We have some baby baths that can be used easily in the showers / en-suites.
We can make sure you have everything you need in your room - kettle, little fridge, anything to make it easier.
