Chalet Chambertin

At Mountain Mavericks we are passionate about food and you’ll not go hungry at our chalets. Our head chef Mikey spends most of his inter-season experimenting in the kitchen to come up with an exciting menu for our chalets. A continental style buffet breakfast with cooked option is served every morning and the team will also home bake a cake and prepare afternoon tea for when you return to the chalet in the afternoons. Delicious three course evening meals with wines to suit are followed by our famous cheese course where we sample a different cheese each night accompanied by a cheesy story. Bean to cup coffee and a selection of teas are available all day every day.

Chambertin is set back from the road about 50m with its own private garden. You arrive at the chalet and come into the entrance hall on the ground floor. The heated spacious boot room with boot warmers is to your right, and the kitchen to your left.

The spacious dining room with a large dinning table and seats for 16 is just along from the kitchen and further along the corridor you will find the tv room and sauna. Up the stairs you will find the 7 en-suite bedrooms surrounding the larger open plan living room and huge glass French doors providing a wonderful view of the mountains and access to the rear garden terrace and outdoor hot tub.

Six of the bedrooms are twin or king rooms and there is one large family room which sleeps four in a super king and two singles or four single beds. All of the bedrooms are en suite and you’ll find a selection of Neals Yard Remedies toiletries to enjoy during your stay. The linen is the finest Egyptian cotton and we provide fluffy towels as well as robes and slippers to make the trip to the hot tub even more luxurious.

Although we base our service on the traditional chalet style, at Mountain Mavericks we have been refining our way of doing it for over a decade. A champagne and canape welcome and a hot drink to your bedside table in the morning, before a hearty breakfast selection, both hot and cold. Then a quick ride to the slopes in your pre-warmed boots and a great days skiing in the mountains. Cake ready on your return, then relax in to the evening in a gorgeous chalet with a hearty 4 course meal and an extensively researched wine selection.

We can also help organise all of the other things you need for a hassle free ski holiday: Ski hire to the door, top quality instruction or guiding, your lift pass in hand before the first morning and a decade of acquired local knowledge.

We work with the best local companies who deliver our guests with a fantastic service at a great price. We can also pre-book ski passes and have them waiting at the hotel when you arrive.
