By Car

If you would like to travel to resort by car then we have parking available at all of our fabulous venues. The journey from Calais to Morzine is approximately between 8 and 9 hours – depending on your ‘style’ of driving!

Dover has the most options available for travel to Calais where you start your French adventure. There’s the Eurotunnel, usually between £60 and £200 and takes 35 minutes. The other option is the ferry if you are keen to wave away the white cliffs of Dover for pastures greener…or whiter!

The ferry crossing is around 90 minutes long and there are a number of different companies so that you can choose the best to suit your needs including DFDS Seaways, P&O and Myferrylink, prices can start from around £50.

We recommend taking the toll roads on your way to Morzine, they are expensive at approximately €70 - €80 but will save you hours in time and litres in fuel! If you are arriving in Morzine during the winter, please ensure your vehicle is suitable to be driven in the snow and ice. A triangle and high-vis vest are compulsory and in the case of heavy snow Gendarmes may insist on having chains to get to some places.

By Bike or on Foot

It may sound crazy but it has been done…by bike at least, our friend managed it in 9 days but we reckon it can be done in 7 on a road bike! We’re not sure anyone has accomplished the 870km by walking despite all the keen hikers in the mountains!

We recommend you write the route down before you leave and factor in plenty of stops!

By Rail

The best option for arriving in classic style by train is to hop on the Eurostar from London Waterloo to Paris. From here you have two options; either to head towards Cluses or Thonon, both of which are located at the foot of the mountain from Morzine.

We can then arrange transport for you up to our mountainous and beautiful town. To search for your perfect train journey from Paris, look to the French train companies; TGV or Corail Lunea.
